OhhWells is a website builder for small businesses. You start from a template that's already structured to convert, fill in your own words and images like working through a workbook, and publish free to your own address.

Website Building
Visual editor
- OhhWells sites are edited directly on the page. Click any text to change it and your edits save automatically as you type. There is no separate admin panel or content form to fill in.
Image editing
- Replace any image by hovering over it and uploading a new file, or drag a file straight onto the image you want to swap. Images upload from your computer without a separate media library step.
Mobile preview
- Switch between desktop and mobile views while editing. The mobile preview renders at 393 pixels wide, matching a standard phone screen, so you can check your layout before publishing.
Multiple sites
- One OhhWells account can build and publish more than one site. Each site has its own address, content, and schedule — useful if you run more than one business, or if you manage sites on behalf of clients.
Multiple pages per site
- Each site can have more than one page. Switch between pages from inside the editor.
Templates
- Every OhhWells site starts from a template. Each one is structured around what makes a small business site convert — the sections are already in place and in order, so you fill in your own words and images rather than deciding what goes where.
New templates
- New templates are added regularly. You can see the current library at ohhwells.com/templates.
Fill in the blanks
- You work through a template the way you'd work through a workbook: each section tells you what belongs there, and you replace the placeholder with your own words. There is no blank canvas to stare at.
Design & Branding
Brand colours
- Set a brand palette of four colours — dark, primary, accent, and light. Your palette applies across your site rather than being set block by block.
Fonts
- Choose a heading font and a body font from Google Fonts, or select a ready-made font pairing.
Logo and favicon
- Upload your logo and favicon, and set the site title that appears in the browser tab and in search results.
Your brand, not the template's
- Change your palette and fonts and the whole site re-themes with them — colours, headings, and body text update together across every page, so your site looks like your brand rather than like the template it started from.
Email branding
- Match your confirmation emails to your brand colours. Available on paid plans.
Custom code
- Add your own code to every page of your published site, including tags in the document head. Useful for adding your own analytics or verification tags.
Publishing & Domains
Free subdomain publishing
- Every OhhWells site publishes free to a yourname.ohhwells.site address. No custom domain or paid plan is required to put a live site on the internet.
Custom domains
- Connect a domain you already own to your OhhWells site. Custom domains require a paid plan.
SSL certificates
- Every published OhhWells site is served over HTTPS. Certificates are issued and renewed automatically by Google — there is nothing to configure or renew.
Hosting
- Published sites are hosted on Google Firebase App Hosting.
Getting found — SEO and AEO
Search and AI engines can read your site
- OhhWells sites are rendered on the server, which means Google and AI tools like ChatGPT receive your full page content — not an empty page waiting for scripts to load.
Page titles and descriptions
- Each page has its own title and meta description, used by Google in search results.
Social sharing previews
- Every page includes Open Graph and Twitter Card tags, so links shared to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or X display a title, description, and image.
Scheduling
Class schedules
- Build a class or session schedule and publish it to your site. Create, edit, and remove classes, and publish the schedule when it's ready.
Instructors and hosts
- Add the instructors or hosts who run your classes and assign them to sessions.
Schedule display on your site
- Your published schedule appears on your website as a calendar. Visitors see upcoming classes with dates, times, and prices without leaving your site.
Class capacity
- Set how many people a class holds. The schedule shows remaining spots, and a class that reaches capacity displays a waitlist option instead of a booking button.

- Show a price on each class in your schedule.
Payments
Taking payments
- Connect a Stripe account to collect payments from your customers. Money goes directly to your own Stripe account.
Fees
- OhhWells does not take a percentage of your sales. You keep everything except Stripe's standard processing fee, which Stripe charges you directly. There is no OhhWells commission, transaction fee, or revenue share.
Currencies
- Charge in your own currency. OhhWells uses Stripe, so you can take payments in any currency your Stripe account supports — including MYR and SGD.

Forms
Contact forms
- Add a contact form to any page. Submissions are delivered to your email.
Newsletter signup
- Collect email subscribers through a newsletter signup form.
Custom forms
- Build additional forms beyond contact and newsletter, and view submissions in your dashboard.
Spam protection
- Forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA.
Accounts
Client access
- Invite a client to their own site. They receive an email, verify with a one-time code, set a password, and name their project.
Sign-in
- Sign in with email and password, or with a Google account.
What OhhWells does not do
Calendar sync
- OhhWells does not currently sync with Google Calendar, Outlook, or iCal.
SMS and WhatsApp notifications
- OhhWells does not currently send SMS or WhatsApp notifications. Notifications are sent by email.
Email marketing
- OhhWells sends one-off emails such as confirmations. It is not email marketing software — for campaigns, sequences, and automations, connect a tool like MailerLite or Flodesk.
Online store
- OhhWells does not currently support e-commerce. You can take payments for classes, sessions, and packages, but you cannot sell physical products.

Does OhhWells have a free plan?
Yes. You can build a site and publish it live on a free yourname.ohhwells.site address without a credit card. Paid plans let you connect a domain name you already own.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. If you're comfortable writing in Google Docs or Notion, you'll feel right at home with OhhWells. You start from a template with its sections already laid out, click any text on the page to replace it with your own, and drag a photo onto an image to swap it.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, on a paid plan. Connect a domain you already own and OhhWells serves your site from it over HTTPS. The certificate is issued and renewed automatically by Google, so there is nothing to configure or renew yourself.
Does OhhWells work for a pilates or yoga studio?
Yes. You can build your site, publish a class schedule to it with dates, times, instructors, capacity, and prices, and take payments through your own Stripe account.
Does OhhWells work for a salon?
Yes. OhhWells is built for small businesses that run on appointments and sessions — you publish your services and schedule, and take payments through your own Stripe account.
Can I take online payments through my OhhWells site?
Yes. Connect your Stripe account and take payments for classes, sessions, and packages directly on your site. The money goes into your own Stripe account, not through OhhWells.
Does OhhWells take a cut of my sales?
